Lisa Marie Elliott

Lisa-Marie Elliott is an attorney with Green, Matzner and Kellner. Lisa represents a variety of insurance carriers and concentrates her practice primarily in the area of First Party Property Litigation.

Lisa is a member of the Florida Bar and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and in Jamaica. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa practiced in the areas of first party property, third-party insurance defense, admiralty, and was a trial attorney with the Public Defender’s Office.

Lisa graduated law school at the University of Miami School of law and received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the same undergraduate institution. While at the University of Miami, Lisa was very active in the Student Government and various other organizations. She was nominated and selected for the Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges and was a Dean’s Honors Scholar.

Lisa is passionate about being active in her community, be it in her hometown Kingston, Jamaica, or in her current residence in Florida. She appreciates the guidance and mentorship she has received over the years and believes in paying it forward, especially to young people who may not have the same opportunities as others due to economic or social circumstances. Lisa’s favorite quote is – – “Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.”

In her free time Lisa enjoys exploring the Tampa trails on her bike, keeping fit in the gym, and enjoying the local beaches and restaurants with her friends and family.
