Javiera Aguilera focuses her practice on the representation of insurers in insurance coverage disputes throughout the State of Florida. She has handled all aspects of First Party Property Insurance Litigation, including but not limited to, pre-suit coverage determinations, pre-and post-appraisal matters, and declaratory coverage actions.
Ms. Aguilera is also experienced in handling various commercial and civil litigation matters in State and Federal Court, including bankruptcy, PACA trust litigation, and worker’s compensation defense.
Ms. Aguilera grew up in Hollywood, Florida. She is a fluent Spanish speaker. During her time in law school, Ms. Aguilera received a Book Award in the area of International Law and participated in a semester-long study abroad program in Australia and New Zealand where she studied comparative torts and contract law. She was a board member of the Gay Rights Alliance and a member of the Mock Trial team. She received her B.A. in History from Florida Atlantic University.
